Actually this may be my favorite song from the show and movie "1776". I always noted that in it Martha Jefferson has a moment in the song when she seems to have a bit of foreknowledge that her life married to Tom is not going to be long (she died of natural causes in 1782, so she never was first lady like Martha Washington and Abigail Adams or Dolley Madison). That moment always moved me.
